HISTORY: The Avilla Chamber of Commerce kicked off the Avilla Farmers Market in 2016 with vendors selling handcrafted items, baked goods, and fresh vegetables. The market took place each Saturday morning from May through the first of October and was located in front of storefronts on East Albion Street, between the St. James Restaurant and Main Street.

To assist ReStore Avilla in having a resource to hold a fundraiser, ownership of the Farmers Market was transferred from the Chamber to ReStore in 2018.

In 2019, the Avilla Flea Market (also known as the Avilla Farmers & Crafters Market) was set up in the Marketplace of Avilla at 538 East Albion Street.

The Avilla Community Market took a break in 2020 and re-opened at Eley Memorial Park in 2021 and has been growing and becoming a summertime weekend tradition that residents and local visitors enjoy.
