AVILLA – ReStore Avilla (Restore) has been soliciting donations for the new pocket park it is building downtown on East Albion Street. When Community State Bank (CSB) was asked, they said they would donate $1,000 dollars and, as a challenge, would match a donation up to $5,000 dollars. Two donors met this challenge; Parkview Physicians Group – Avilla (PPG), donated $5,000 and Ryan Yarian donated $6,000.  These donations, along with all the other donations and funds raised by selling commemorative capstones, have enabled Restore to meet its goal of raising $35,000 to build the pocket park.

Todd Carteaux, ReStore’s president, is expecting the pocket park installation to be completed within the next few weeks.
